IPS TENNIS - specialist coaching
Each Thursday afternoon, a number of our Gr 2-6 students develop their special talents in our Tennis Australia - Hotshots program, under the expert tutelage of coach Peter Joyce.
Peter is a Tennis Australia High Performance Coach and a fantastic asset to Invermay PS tennis specialist program. Peter's extensive experience includes being a past international circuit player and private coach of Australian ranked juniors and international ranked players.
He was the TCAV Coach of the Year in 2000 and is the Head Coach of the UB Westvic Academy of Sport Tennis Program. He is the private coach of one of Zoe Hives - 2011 Winner of the Australian National Championships 14 & Under.
In addition to Peter's Gr 2-6 squad, we also have 10 Gr P&1 students receiving weekly coaching from our our jnr school teacher MR Evans - himself a highly experienced tennis coach.
We look forward to watching these kids develop their special talents in tennis with Jarryd and Peter in coming years.
