SWPBS - School wide positive behaviour support

In 2014, Invermay Primary was chosen as a pilot school for the School Wide Positive Behaviour Support (SWPBS).
What is SWPBS?
SWPBS is a framework that helps schools to plan and implement practices across the whole school to improve educational and behaviour outcomes for our students.

What does it mean for IPS?
The SWPBS team comprising of Justin, Rebecca, Cath and Pete, meet regularly to discuss how we can improve positive behaviour expectations of our students. We collect data, formulate plans and liaise with staff on the best way to support our students to make positive choices.
Our SWPBS guiding statement:
At Invermay Primary School we are committed to providing a respectful, cooperative and inclusive environment for all students. We aim for 'Happy Kids, High Achievers' by empowering our students with our school values: Commitment, Cooperation, Respect, Responsibility, Honesty and Excellence.
Senior and Prep buddies, teamed up to show you the difference from being a 'player' to a 'team player'. Check them out!!!
